A new real estate acquisition prompted the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, to retain Smith + St. John as project manager to direct a comprehensive master planning effort to look at their growing campus of nearly 1 million square feet. This was followed by several projects, most notably renovations of the 100 year old Forsyth Building.
